Rockford is the leader in my book. Been using them since the 90s. New truck means new system. Never an issue!! I just wish they came with decales in these boxes. :(

I bought the Rockford Fosgate stage 2 kit for my 2020 road glide. It was very easy to install, all of the cables and wires were the exact length and were completed with the needed end for its intended task. I had the radio flashed and the amplifier tuned at the local certified Fosgate installer. I seem to have lost a lot of volume as well as fullness with the flash. It isn’t near as loud as some of the other systems I’ve heard. Systems that are identical to mine in every way. The local RF guy my was pushing with everything watt of power it has. He said it can’t give anymore than it’s giving yet it’s still not as loud, clear and full as some of others I’ve heard. I asked him about that and he said there is a large deviation between RF amplifiers. He said he has seen some of these amplifiers make over 600 total watts from factory and the next couple will only get to 400 if you’re lucky it said since there is such a big variation in the power being produced by the amplifier that there are and will forever be stereos identical to mine that outperform and sound better than mine. For the money I paid and the quality of product RF claims they produce, this is absolutely unacceptable. If I knew that going into it, I could have put that same dollar amount into some hertz or ground zero and a much more powerful amplifier. I didn’t because the RF was a complete plug n play and they have a great reputation. It’s not a bad system it just needs some work in the after flash department.

Bought a brand new Rockford Fosgate Punch marine amp a month ago. Went for the more expensive option over the typical cheap brands thinking it would pay off. A month later I have a 400 dollar amp that does nothing. No explanation for it whatsoever, just started to make crazy noises and now no noise at all. Everything is correctly connected and the amp has power. I intend to contact RF about this tomorrow. If the matter is rectified I'll augment this review appropriately. Until then, just buy something cheap, it'll only last a month anyway.
