Well worth the visit. Many visitors to the North Cascades will probably not find this hidden gem. At first glance it looks like a Danger No Trespassing area. Once you walk across the bridge there is a network of trails in the woods back to the falls. Great spot to check out during the day and night when they light up the falls.

The house seems to be in some video game. Nice garden in the back. Also a small fall and bridge overlook. Nice stop for a 30 mins walk.
Haven’t gone to this place. But it is 99% same to the power house in the game Alan Wake, which makes this place mysterious and intriguing.
I enjoyed reading the history of the plant, as well as the viewing platform looking into the plant. The garden and the trail behind the building were both gorgeous. Well worth the drive!
We went late at night and had the whole place to ourselves. It was magical and mysterious!
