A shout out to the staff at Illuminations! As part of a package deal from another company we purchased a chandelier for a renovated room. The rod to the chandelier was too long and to get a new one by mail would take forever. We called Illuminations and they could not have been nicer. We sent them photos of the piece and the chandelier. They called us back and actually spoke with our electrician so that they were certain of what we needed. We brought the rod to Illumination and they had it cut, threaded and ready for us the very next day. They could not have been more professional. Next light I need, I am off to Illuminations!

Bought an LED bulb there a little while back that was guaranteed to last years. Suddenly stops working after a short time. Brought it back and was exchanged with no issues. Phil stood behind the product beyond what the manufacturer was willing to do.

Very unprofessional and dishonest people at Illuminations. We are doing a kitchen renovation and brought our kitchen electrical plans that we already had purchased from our kitchen cabinet design company to Illuminations. I was simply looking for light fixtures to go over our island. Philip asked to see our layout. (See Photo A) Philip said that the lighting design was all wrong and that he is a “professional lighting expert” and for 300 he would design a professional and proper kitchen electrical and lighting plan for our new kitchen. He said the 300 could be used towards a future purchase so we paid him 300 tax. He said his professional layout would include recessed high hat lights, pendant lights over the island in addition to outlets and light switch’s. The next morning we went to Illuminations to meet with Philip and pick up the plans. We were very upset that Philip took our existing electrical/lighting plan from the kitchen cabinet company, whited out the original high hat lighting, made a photo copy of it and then made some pencil marks on it showing us where he thinks the lights should go. (See Photo B) There were no measurements either out from the wall or how far apart the high hats should be placed! There were no measurements either out from the wall or how far apart the 3 pendant lights over the island should be placed either! Additionally, there were no light switches or outlets shown at all! We were supposedly sold a 'PROFESSIONAL' electrical and lighting design layout but that is not what we received. It was merely a tactic to get us to purchase the lighting from them. When most of their 'good' reviews came in the last 6 months, it is a sign that the reviews were most likely solicited by Illuminations, in order to cover up the bad reviews of the past. TIP: Whenever you see a store, like Illuminations, offering EXCHANGE or STORE CREDIT ONLY on returns, it's not a good sign. Buyer beware.
