Services was good, though the visit was 2 hours. On my bill, though i paid my copay in the office, it was reflected on my bill and you will see a 40 charge for refraction services, these are the prescription with the information needed for your frames/lenses. The 40 will NEVER be paid by any insurance company. I've never been charged for this before and so will not return to this company for optical services. I think its just another opportunity to increase revenues directly from patients...an add on to co-pays.

Horrible. Had to give a star in order to write review. Made an appointment about two weeks ago for today for my granddaughter. My son and I go and the office is closed. NOT a call from anyone notifying us that the office is closed. THE WEBSITE SAYS THEY ARE OPEN. Obviously there is no respect or consideration for the patient. MY SON AND I TOOK OFF OF WORK FOR THIS APPOINTMENT. Inconsiderate office.
During this unprecedented pandemic, Dr. Shanfeld and the staff saw me swiftly, were happy to assist with my DMV forms and fill out necessary prescriptions, answered all my questions, and fulfilled all my needs with smiles on their faces. It was clean, they took my temperature non-invasively as I arrived, and social distancing, safety, and hygienic guidelines were followed by all staff for the duration. I also observed the staff clean all equipment before and after its use by each patient. My appointment was quick and thorough. I was treated kindly and felt safe. If only all businesses took such measures during this frightening time, I may venture out of my house more often. I was grateful for the seriousness with which the staff there took all CDC and WHO guidelines and practices, as well as the pleasant environment they create for their patients. I would highly recommend SightMD of Rockville Centre.
Terrible experience. My daughter's appointments were canceled several times despite that they were made weeks in advance. Rescheduled appointments were canceled too. We went through this two years and that's it. Staff doesn't care about patients needs.
Terrible new patient experience. Had to reschedule 2 times. Be prepared for a 2 Hour visit. Make sure you know what you are going for and request it multiple times. Also note that a refraction, needed for a lens script, is out of pocket 40 even if your insurance policy covers it. However, staff are pleasant and easy to work with and Doctors are great.
