Received a huge surprise medical bill. How huge you ask; 17,000. Alright, so I call the hospital. What gives? I was released the same day. Can I get an itemized statement? Can I get some reductions? The hospital refused to give an itemized statement. I asked for the contract rates they normally charge insurance companies. The hospital refuses. I let them know of their legal obligation to give such information. They didn’t answer. This hospital is an absolute sleezy scam of an operation. If you are put into the same position as I was put in, know that you have a legal right to know the insurance contract rates under In re North Cypress. The hospital, of course, will make you get a lawyer and file suit just to acknowledge that right. Bottom Line: DON’T GO HERE

Went for my son's tonsillectomy and I was very pleased with the ways the Doctor's support staff (the hospital staff) treated my son and us. They worked with him (7 years old) and were very patient. They also explained things to us and gave us the opportunity to ask questions. I didn't feel rushed and they were also very accommodating post op. The nurse that helped us when he was waking stayed with us the entire time and kept my son hydrated. He was the most patient because my son was not pleasant when he woke up. To end his service, he walked us to the car and finally bid us farewell.

I was to have surgery on the 21st of December I went to this hospital 4 days before and had COVID test when I got there my surgery that was at 3 o'clock. I was pre registered from the day I got the COVID-19 test so registration was fast they also wanted me there 2 hrs early. While sitting in the lobby with EVERYONE waiting for my surgery. My admissions person came up to me and said follow me.and I did. Right out the front door to the Circle drive.?????? Then after 10 minutes or so a nurse I didn't know walked outside and said your COVID-19 Test came back positive So I said what now? I was then told that they would call for my ride I didn't have a phone or anything because they tell you to bring nothing. So then I called right up the chain of command straight to the TOP 2 PEOPLE. And was absolutely ignored completely so PLEASE don't send me your concerned hospital message like I've seen that says we really care please leave a message at this number and will make sure that the Situation gets handled appropriately at the proper levels I'm trying to prevent the SPREAD of disease I was THAT DAY! .Everybody in that Room that was exposed to me should have been quarantined immediately and all surgeries cancelled that's a joke right lol They really don't seem to care.

Why were a horde of police officers from the rockwall police department allowed inside this hospital when I went? A police department that has, historically both in and outside of court, harassed me and my family. I was also told I was being given an injection by a man with military fatigues and he told me when he leaned close that it was 'biometrics'. I was treated by Dr. Jerry Ray. Oh, is he no longer working there? Do you have no idea what I'm talking about? How convenient. I still have the surgical scar from the implantation. I got a second opinion and was told this was a felony crime punishable by no less than 10 years in prison!
