We purchased a custom Log Home from them about 2 yrs ago. It has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. We dealt with Sallie to start who knew very little about construction and every change we made took 2 months for new plans. We then had Damon who was even worst. No customer service qualities at all. They promised delivery in 4 trucks in two days. We had to provide the equipment for the offloading process. The day before they told us no trucks available. It took them 2 weeks to get all 4 trucks to us in the mean time we had to pay 300 per day for the offloading equipment and constantly fight with them on the phone to even get this done. They never provided us with a bill of lading so we have no idea what was delivered. My builder has no way of knowing if everything is here. The cypress logs are wet so there will be shrinkage when they dry and we will not be able to stain them for months. We paid for cypress yet some of the logs delivered are pine. Some of the building material is warped and some of it has insect holes all over them. None of the decking material was delivered and worst of all we paid for upgraded Anderson windows and per Damon they do not order them till after the delivery of the logs is done even thou they have been paid in full for months. So my builder has to go on to other jobs and come back in two months to finish the house. We meet with the owner Tom when we visited the site but so far he refuses to answer our calls.

This place stinks. Been speaking with and visiting log home companies for 2 years now and by far this was the worst. Poor customer service, doesn’t respond to emails, and they are pushy and don’t provide you answers to your questions instead they try and push you in response to inquiries. Their product package is lacking, their prices are higher. They care about not the customer. They don’t want business, they made that clear in their interaction with us. Glad their true colors come out in the beginning so you aren’t fooled into proceeding further!

Two things that resonate with all reviews are the large hidden f shipping fees that they spring on you with the final payment and NEVER mentioned anytime while making the deal....and secondly the rude arrogant owner of the company if you have the misfortune of having to speak with him. We will NEVER recommend this company to anyone.
Buyer beware !!!!!! We had a salesman at first that was really eager to help us with everything very friendly talking all about if family, we felt comfortable with him, they were having some sale , but looks to me that they always are running sales. we put Down 9,000 to hold the cypress wood ,they were fast to take our 9;000! They just sent us generic plans to look at, didn’t really do anything for us a couple month went by and we were contacted by a woman. It really wasn’t progressing forward, she was really vague when asking her prices. She wasn’t helpful so we decided not to continue with them, we got bad vibes from this company. My husband was the one handling this and I will have him add on to this. We talked to Melanie , I told her we didn’t want to go with them anymore and that we would like our 10,000 dollars back. She said she would close our file and send to cancelation dept and she told us they would be contacting us. John got a call from a tom who was very short and threatening on the phone saying that we were in breach of contract and that we would not be getting our money back, even though they had done nothing but send us generic plans with our names put on it. We told him that we didn’t like how they do business and would be reporting them to bbb and national lumber council and write as much on internet to warn other so that no one would go threw what we encounter.
We used them to purchase a log kit of 60,000 that turned into 89,000 because of all the extras they neglect to tell you about. Now right before log delivery they notify me by a piece of paper that I owe 15,550 for log delivery. This company is the absolute worse with all their deceitfulness! They took our dream of owning a log cabin and turned it into a nightmare. I would advise you not to buy from them. Of course the owner is no where around and they refuse to let you speak to him. Your rep could care less that you are not an experienced log home builder. Terrible customer service. Now I'm wondering how good can these logs be.
