Where do I begin? First, I never post reviews on Google. But this experience has been so bad I want others to stay away. When I booked my pods, I was told twice, that my total move would cost 2100. No hidden fees. Well, that was not correct. That price did not include the move from the PODS storage unit location to my new house. Well, obviously, I need that to happen and it should have been in the original price, and I was told that the 2100 included everything. Then, they charge this additional “moving charge” to me one week in advance, although I have not confirmed my final delivery date to the new location. Since that date has changed, PODS is having to credit my account, then re-charge me the fee once more. To top this off, the customer service rep was rude, inconsiderate, and degrading, and continued to tell me to “read my contract”. Poorly done Pods Moving and Storage!

Do not move with PODS!! Poor customer service and professionalism. Everything has to be handled over the phone vice on their online dashboard. Wait times are 30 minutes plus and reps can rarely resolve issue. I moved from jax to San Diego. Pod was delivered on time empty but picked up two days late only after hours/days of phone calls with customer service. This ultimately resulted in the POD being delivered late to San Diego. I still do not have the weight tickets I ordered in order to be reimbursed. As you will see with the other negative reviews, the only resolution they offer is an email address to contact which ultimately gets you no where. Once they have your money they can do whatever they want. Use Uhaul! Better customer service and much more user friendly.
Had no issues with neither the delivery of the empty containers nor the pick-up of the full containers. Driver's were professional and careful not to damage the lawn. Will edit this post after the delivery of the containers to the new address.
I was interested in getting a Pod for a few months while in transition. Unfortunately I’ve been sitting on hold for 26 mins during my work day just to talk to someone. So far not a happy prospective customer.
My 85 year old neighbor lady who is a window has a pod in her driveway. Her pod was to be delivered to her new home on Tuesday June 30th however she was told her Friday 6/26/20 her home would not be ready. She then called pod and changed it to a storage facility. However Saturday morning 6/27/20 she was notified her home would be ready. She called PODS and they told her it could not come to her home now. However the driver will be driving directly past her home on the way to pod storage . I mean directly in front of her home. . Now they tell her that they may be able or may not be able to change her delivery, however they now want 300.00 to make the change in the computer. I have ask to speak to a customer supervisor and they say that is not possible. If anyone read there reviews not one person should ever use the company again. They are taking advantage of the elderly lady and don't care one bit. The is June 29, 2020 if anyone from pod wants to contact me please do at [email protected] I would be glad to let you explain why you feel justified in taking advantage of the lady.
