We've used Rodack to train 2 of our dogs. Great place. Highly recommend.

I have had two GSD’s from Roger. His training is wonderful. The dogs are trained perfectly, it’s the owner that has to learn the dance; and after his Saturday socializing classes I figured it out! I highly recommend him.

I signed up for his training for my dog and after one session my dog did not respond to the training. The method of training was not suitable for her temperament. Afterwords she cowered when I attempted to put her on a leash. I made an attempt to get a refund from Roger or his wife via email never got a response left them a voicemail never got a response made another attempt On the phone with voicemail no return phone calls call the third time Roger answered the phone asked him if I could have a refund he said no and asked why I told him the method of the training is not what I was looking for and It did not suit my dog he told me that he was not giving me a refund to come there and show him what method of training that I was looking for and I told him that I didn't need his services anymore but I would like a refund he said you aren't getting one I said I will have to take you to court then he said go ahead. I think that is very unprofessional and immature. The method of the training that he does is aggressive and Borders on abuse you don't need to cause an animal pain to get them to learn he walked around with my dog on a pinch collar and when she didn't stay by his side he gave the leash a big jerk and on several occasions my dog yelped afterwords that is why my dog was cowering when I went to put her on a leash as well as acted very timid towards me and my family members it took a couple weeks for her to regain trust with us again. I made that Known to him when I went to the session that she has a soft temperament obviously that didn't matter not asking for all my money back I'm asking for what is owed to me I had one session I don't think it's unreasonable to get refunded for the rest minus one session. Anybody can cause an animal pain and get them to listen pain is a great motivator but that doesn't make it right

Roger is a very impressive trainer. The dog has learned quite a bit so far and so have I.
