DC Explorer

Love this place. So many nice items from around the world...not just great groceries, but also nice soaps, watch repair, and all sorts of things. This isn't my main grocery store, but I often go here for the international selection re: several items.

Went here to buy frozen boerwors (supplied by local company Ayoba) and found an entire section of shelving dedicated to south african spices, biscuits, condiments, staples, etc. We were overjoyed at the selection and will be regulars not only for this, but to also revisit their great selection of beers and other international foods!

Local grocery. Excellent quality and service. Some items are a bit more pricey than average, others are equal or actually less expensive. Also, their Cafe just opened; was not impressed. Orded a mocha that tasted more like a latte, and even that was pretty mediocre.

Rodman's is the best. Had very diverse offerings and their produce has improved greatly in recent months. Love this place.

A neighborhood treasure. Nice variety of beer and wine. Carries produce and pantry basics. The only place to find a wide range of global-international food items. Has a pharmacy and variety store on lower level, as well as a watch battery replacement counter. New coffee bar on Wisconsin Ave.
