I've been buying 5-6 Keepsake Ornaments here every year for the past nine years. My family makes a traditional trip to choose an ornament for each person. I excused the indifferent behavior of the employees until now. This year, I decided to do a pre order and get the free tote. The ad said, \FREE Keepsake Reusable Tote: Offer valid while supplies last on Dream Book Wish List orders submitted in store or online and picked up at participating Hallmark Gold Crown stores in the U.S.A. only. Limit one Keepsake Reusable Tote per customer. Tax not included.\ I sent in my wish list to J's Hallmark online. When I picked it up, there was no tote. Even after I showed the employee my email receipt he wouldn't give me one because my name wasn't hand written on a list they had. He took my name, and a few days later I got a call to come get it. When I went in, the main manager (maybe owner?) didn't acknowledge me as I browsed a few minutes first, and I was the only customer. I finally had to go around and stand directly in front of her before she looked up. She didn't smile or greet me. I explained I was there to pick up my tote bag, and she started arguing with me about that was only for people who bring the wish list in person. I said the fine print was for O line too - it was sent to her store so she still got my business. She became extremely irritated, fumbled under the counter and then tossed a bag on it. I will drive to Springfield or Ft. Smith from now on.

poor customer service. 5.23.19 at 6:45pm. in to the store and didn’t see an employee. As I walked around, I assumed the employee was in the back getting merchandise to refill the front of the store, but no. She was standing at the side of the counter reading a book. She completely ignored me as I walked in the store. I’ve worked retail for many years and I would never let a guest come into my store without being greeted.

I just walked In the store just to walk right back out. I came into the store to look for a card and, within the 3 minutes of me walking in and browsing things up front, I heard the most racist conversations by three employees there. They were talking about the Indian culture in northwest arkansas and how one employee in particular could not stand it and she has had all she could handle today of them. They progressed into talking about Hispanics too. I understand people have opinions and have a right to express them BUT, you are working for a business and reflect that company when you are working there. I could not believe how rude these ladies were. I will definitely not be coming back.
