So glad we tried it out. Great day for the whole family. Some hidden fees you can avoid if you plan your day. Bring your own life jackets - required for anyone jumping and all kids under 10 at all times. Bring your own raft or float too. Non acholic drinks can be brought in a cooler. You can bring a pop up tent even. Bag chairs are allowed or y I u can rent lounge chairs. No alcohol or food from outside. They have a full snack shack with good food options. Great margaritas, beer and seltzer drinks available. Bathrooms are port-a-potties 3 cliff jump options (10, 15, 20 ft). 2 large water slides and one small inflatable slide in the water. Nice sand beach.

Absolutely love it here! Came for my birthday once and at first I was thrown off that you have to wear a life vest when swimming but that's only if you go past the buoy-string line. After experiencing having to wear it, it made sense, jumping off the cliffs and swimming to the fun blow up, you'll be wanting the vest just to take a break and float without having to keep swimming, and most importantly safer that way. I would recommend wearing/bringing water shoes so you have protect your feet walking through the sand and on the way to cliff jumps. Staff was helpful, you can bring your own snacks, had fun here and I'm looking forward to coming again in the summer!
Had our sons 13th birthday party there today, the first time we've ever been, & it was GREAT!!! Stayed the whole 8 hrs they were open, the boys had an absolute blast & us adults really enjoyed it also! We will definitely go back! Lots of things to do, very friendly staff, great prices on food & drinks (you can also bring your own in, except for alcohol).
I drove extra miles just to visit Fugitive Beach and it was worth it. I had a blast! Yes, it gets crowded because it's an awesome place to hang out with family or friends. And no, it's not pricey at all...common are we talking about 10 ? I haven't seen any dunk teenagers, nor anyone acting weird. I got there early in the morning to get a nice spot and spent all day until they kicked me out :) (cause they needed to close it)
Me and my three boys (9y, 2y, 5mo) drove up from Kansas City, MO area to come and experience the updated Fugitive Run Beach in Rolla, MO. This place is great to chill with family and friends. There is something for everyone... Adults are 12 and come with a wristband that lets you come and go as you please for the day. Kids are 10 and 2 years old and younger are free. Cabanas come with a grill you can rent for approx 60. Designated areas require the use of a certified life jacket which you can rent 5 a day. They also have some food selections, a store with things you might have forgotten to bring, and alcoholic beverages too at approx 5 a piece. you are prohibited from bringing any alcohol into the venue and it's parking lot. All bags and coolers are checked for things that are not allowed to be brought into the beach. This day our trip was cut short the weather kept spittin' on us. Even though the beach is a rain or shine establishment, meaning they won't close due to rain unless there is lightening and/or thunder. I will definitely be coming back... Without the kids lol jk!
