This place was fun. I took the wife and daughter for the “night before Christmas” train. Daughter love it she had a blast. Definitely gives you some Christmas spirit. Train is pretty well kept. It wasn’t too pack and the guy who read the story was pretty engaging. Would go back.

We took the 45 minute Holiday Steam Engine train ride with Santa! The conductors were so friendly. It's a lot of fun. Definitely go if in the area. A very nostalgic feeling, also the train station had Christmas Carolers, holiday activities like writing & mailing letters to Santa in the North Pole, a WURLITZER Band Organ, a gift shop, restrooms. Decorated beautifully for Christmas. Loved it
We have visited several times and taken rides a couple of times. The dining is highly recommended, the food is so delicious and the wait staff are amazing. Not only are they friendly and spend a little time getting to know you, they're very knowledgeable about the trains and the area. If you stop in the area and don't visit the railroad, you're missing out. The museum next door is currently closed due to the pandemic, but I highly recommend it once it opens. So many interesting things and so much history there.
Amazing experience. They do an excellent job preserving such a critical piece of American History! Well worth it. Definitely going back for more!
Nice hour enjoying a historical train station and ride. The President car was great it's has a front section that seats about 8 people, plus it has four private sections that seat two/four people plus another back section that also seats about 8 people. I would recommend that if you decide to go on the president 's car to arrive early so you can pick the rear part of this car it will give a better view plus you be able to see the steam engine on the return trip. The steam engine will hookup to the president 's car.
