Melissa was our tour guide for the house and she really knew her stuff. Answering questions and really bringing us into Amish life. Then we went on the bus tour where David took us to the Amish Dairy Farm as well as a stop in between. He also was very informative about the lifestyle from the past to the present and we enjoyed every minute. It was a pleasure to meet the Amish family and see how they work together and truly live their lives. Lastly we walked around the property and visited the farm animals. Some were rescued and without a doubt the Amish take care of them. A MUST if you want to be immersed into the Amish world. A family of 4 adults premium tour package 130 plus more if you want souvenirs.

We went to the Amish Village and the Amish Farm and House. We liked the Amish Farm and House more. Why? Both tours take you through an Amish house- a \church room\, kitchen, boys room, girls room, parents room, and summer kitchen. Both have a farm with animals. But, the tour at Amish Farm was more complete. Because we went there last, we would hear when they explained or showed something that was not covered in the Amish Village. A few examples: we heard a recording of people singing in church, there was more detail on their religion, and in the farm there was a blacksmith showing how he works. But this one was pretty good also. Cost was 11 per person.

Nice place to visit. I learned more about Amish. I took the bus tour the the guider was really nice and she has many information about Amish. I think her name is Christian. I didn’t get any chance to talk to them.
