This place is world famous! Love love love it. I even take my kids sometimes. Best magic shop I have seen, and I’ve been to a lot of them. This shop is about the art of magic and encourages reading a book to learn at a young age. Support this shop, go buy something. I try to buy something each visit, well worth the time and money.

Please know that D & L Magic is not the Denny & Lee’s Magic Studio. Sadly, in January of 2019 Denny Haney, world famous magician and magic shop owner passed away. Denny & Lee’s Magic Studio was hands down the best magic shop for any level magician. If Denny did not have what you were looking for, he could get it for you. Denny had such an impact on the world of magic that a few locals from the shop did not want to see Denny’s legacy die with him so they moved locations and called the new store D & L Magic. They strive to give the same great quality service you received at Denny’s shop. I highly recommend this shop as they are all students of Denny so they must know what they are talking about.
I have been buying from here since 1999, as a semi-professional who does only a handful of shows a year for schools and corporations. Denny is a class act with a deep knowledge of the industry and what really "works" for the performer. In my opinion this is the best shop in the country.
One of the last magic shops around. A bit messy, and even though it's located in an industrial park, there's an old world feel on the inside. When we stopped by, there were a few magicians just hanging out and talking shop. The owner seems to be a national treasure of magic knowledge. Worth a stop if you're in the area, esp. if you can read up a little on the history of the place and its owner.
Today was my second visit to the studio but only my first time in. The first time I tried to go they were closed due to an unforeseen issue. I met Deny and let me tell you what, he is amazing! I told him I was very new to magic, I just started learning about 1-1/2 to 2 months ago and he got really excited. He helped me with a few moves and we say and talked for quite some time. He let my 8 year old son and I go into the theatre and check it out. There were a few other people in there, including the Magician that was performing tonight, just hanging out like it was their home. There was one particular guy there, his name was Kevin, and he sat with me and talked to me and made some wonderful suggestions. Hell also helped me with a particular force I've been working on. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed, and when I left I felt like was a longtime friend not a customer. I will definitely be back for I am now a lifelong customer!
If you have any interest in magic, this is the place to go! There are books galore on any subject including out of print volumes. If you are a beginning magician or looking for something to add to your next stage show, if it is not in the shop the knowledgeable staff is willing to help. The owner has recently passed away but the staff and friends intend to keep the shop open. Update: This shop is now closed. A new shop has been opened in York, PA by friends who want to keep Denny's legacy alive. I'll post a review when I visit the new shop.
It's more than a store. Its a place of wonder and learning. Waiting for aspiring magicians and magic enthusiasts to discover the various tools and literature to advance their skill. Best yet is the proprietor of the store, Denny, is full of knowledge and always willing to give a pointer when asked about doing a new trick. Overall a rare gem that is hard to find in the country let alone the city.
Simply the best magic shop out there. Well stocked with supplies and information, books,DVDs, props, you want it, they've got it or can get it.
