“If you don’t want me coming into your house and saying something to other people about how it looks then make it presentable” This was what John Breeden (owner) of this carpet place said to me when I asked him if it was professional to discuss my house with a third party. I am separated and getting divorced. I was in the middle of moving when my husband employed Mr Breeden to come measure for carpet. Mr. Breeden proceeded to tell gossipy third-party that my house was messy and that there was some animal feces in one of the rooms. The room that had the animal feces was my stepsons and I hadn’t been in it for months. And when you’re moving and packing things into boxes your house certainly isn’t going to be in order. I explain that to Mr. Breeden. He didn’t expect his comments to get back to me through a fourth person. How sad that you think you’re getting measured for carpet but instead you have someone judging you harshly and telling other people. Such gossipy unprofessionalism and pettiness. Extra drama that no one needs. Go elsewhere.
