I guess I will never know how bad or how great the food was. My event was cancelled due to the pandemic. It would be nice if management would contact me to discuss the return of my deposit as promised in an e-mail from April. It is only fair since I received no services. Their door is still chained and their phone # is no longer in service. Very disappointed by this business. Stay away from this place if it re-opens under a new business name/new owner! The one star was a forced selection to write this post. They get no stars.

If I could give this restaurant no stars, I would! I have been a loyal customer throughout the years, always attending events at this venue, even making it a tradition to celebrate New Years there every year. I am beyond disappointed, angry, upset, and frustrated at this venue and how unbelievably unprofessional they have been! I was supposed to have my bridal shower at the Castle back in April. The Castle decided to close its doors without warning their customers. I received no notice that they were closing. I found out when I had tried contacting them numerous times, right before the quarantine, and decided to show up in person. They had a note on the door stating “The Castle is closed until further notice” with no email or number to contact. I have sent a variety of emails and gotten no response back. Other venues have called their customers letting them know they were closing due to Covid-19 and gave their customers options to choose from regarding their event. To this day, I have no word from the Castle and I have been pretty much stuck without being able to even host a small bridal shower in my backyard because they still have my money. If there are any other brides, or any customers who have gone through the same experience as me during this tough time, contact me! Let’s work together in getting our money back. It is not fair that they closed on us with no notice and not fair to us that they get to keep our money! Instead of helping us out, making this extremely stressful time less stressful, no. They have made this an absolute nightmare. I hope to get answers soon. My email is [email protected].

This place is garbage! I was suppose to have my daughters first communion but because of the pandemic they closed without no notice. I tried calling & emailing and no response back. They stayed with my deposit and that’s completely unfair! I believe this place filed for bankruptcy.

Food was of excellent quality. I ordered a Portuguese steak and everything came out delicious. Appetizers were also excellent. Service was okay. It took quite a bit of time before we got to order the food and even more before getting it. It also wasnt particularly busy. This place does a lot of catering events for parties so there is a large hall with plenty of room. There is also a separate eating area for small groups of individuals. Expect a pricy meal but it will taste good.
