Hit a jackpot with this Thorntons. Surprised to find a very nice and welcoming and accommodating cashier. Kudos to management for having exceptional staff and empowering them, unlike some other Thorntons. Store was nice and clean and customers were being taken care of in a timely manner. Property outside was well kept as well.

Thornton’s is my favorite gas station. Gas prices are reasonable, they always have Diet Mountain Dew on tap, and they stock fresh doughnuts daily. The new Boston Creme Long John is so good.
I also posted to Facebook about this location... First of all, WHY would you have a photo of the back of the building on your web page??? You can't even tell it is a Thornton's... so lame. This is by far the worst gas station I have been to anywhere, and I travel around a lot in IL, WI, IN. I have been complaining about this location for a few years now. The local management couldn't care less about my opinion, and I can't be the only one. I also contacted corporate a few times and filed complaints on this location. Obviously nothing gets done. The worst thing is when you pull up and desperately need to clean your windows, and the washer station is dry, or filled with garbage, or the thing stinks like sewage. Today I was told \we had 8 cases of washer fluid and we are out\. You should have a FULL PALLET at any location during this kind of weather, for store use and for sale. NO EXCUSES. I will no longer patronize this location, or maybe any Thornton's for that matter.
