We came here after shopping at the fashion outlets of Chicago during restaurant week. They had a good selection of entrees, appetizers, desserts, and upgrades. We went with the clam chowder and blue cheese salad as appetizers and two steaks for entrees: a aged NY strip and a fillet mignon. For dessert we decided on both the cheesecake and espresso options. For 45 a person, it seemed like quite the steal given the level of service you get here as well as ambience. Definitely come hungry or be prepared to bring plenty back home with you! Another bonus was a hot and fresh basket of assorted breads, like 5 kinds in total!!!

Undeniably one of the best steaks you’ll ever eat is at Capital Grille. Their food is high quality, their service is superb. Always a great experience when dining here.
You go to Capitol grill for steak. And they do a good job. Not the greatest but very good. You will pay a pretty penny for your meal. Had the lamb chops thiught they were really good. The highlight of the meal was the desserts. The espresso flourless cake Excellent. And the cheese cake will the creme brulee topping was equal great. Service was great like you expect at a top notch steakhouse. Free valet and self parking.

We had a wonderful meal here. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. Our server was attentive, thoughtful and funny. She also provided good recommendations along with very mouth watering details of the desserts. The food was amazing. Our younger kids enjoyed their meals from the kids menu but the medium filet my 10 year old was a perfect portion for him and a perfect pink. He ate his entire meal. The seared citrus glazed salmon melted in mouth, every bite was delicious. My son loved his clam chowder and the Roasted Chicken Breast with Shitake mushrooms and a sherry jus. My husband tried a bite and said he wished he had selected that as it was so full of flavor and perfectly cooked. He also enjoyed his steak, just something about the flavor combo of my son’s meal made him crave more. The host was gracious as well and made us feel welcome when we arrived and made sure to thank us for dining as we left. Exceptional staff, delicious meal!
