it’s small town PA as all heck. These small town, back woods, people are not only the kindest but the cleanest people I have ever encountered! A lady's dog knocked the last tiny bit of beer out of my hand and she offered to buy me a whole new one! The honey pots are still clean and dry by 11pm!!! After awhile day of festivities. The big time is the place to be in late July. The parade includes the whole town! Wanna walk it? Join in! If cheap beers, tasty Snacks, and uncle smiley are your thing this is the place for you. the fireworks are late on Saturday and they’re worth the wait and seen over the house you’ll know which one. Slate belt rising indeed.

Amazing tradition in not only Roseto, but the entire Lehigh Valley/Pocono area. The event hosts great food, drinks, and a variety of fun events for kids and adults alike. There is a mix of Italian and American eats, and there are smiles and laughs everywhere you look. I highly recommend visiting, and though prices can be a little high for certain things, all proceeds benefit Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church (lower area) or Columbia Fire Co. (upper area). Always a great time!

It seems every year this event gets smaller. There were only 10 rides in 2018 vs 12 in 2017 & 14 in 2016. Bracelet night was still 20 per person. Wine slushies were awesome though. Great event to support the local community, just wish they would bring more rides back for the kids.
