I love this place. The staff is always nice and helpful. Had the fried pickled for the first time. They were amazing! The food is always great and the bread is to die for

Brisket sandwich was tasty and delicious. O rings were from frozen and not spicy at all. Most of the people I saw walk in were at least retirement age. Ozzy's \Bark at the Moon\ is playing throughout the dining room. I'm not sure what demographic they are trying to cater to.
I was somewhat disappointed when I first ordered and receive my dinner. The menu said that the beef ribs that I had ordered were meaty. Unfortunately they were not. When the server ask me how I was enjoying my meal I told her of my disappointment and she immediately responded with several more beef ribs. I was now and beef rib heaven. They were very tasty and I loved the barbecue sauce that came with it. Hopefully you will not have the same experience that I did at the start. I was very happy with the outcome and will return.
They have the most delicious smoked chicken in town. It literally falls off the bone. The flavor is not too strong so you can still taste the chicken. Also, the portions are extremely generous, and the service was great.
I typically only write reviews when they are good but damn man, this was very disappointing. I've never seen tri tip so well done (damn near looks like brisket) super dry, had to smother it in the sauce for some flavor. Ordered a side sausage link which flavor left a lot to be desired. The Mac n cheese was cold which for an extra 1 you'd expect them to at least microwave it lol. The fries/potato wedges were decent. 25 down the drain, but I shall continue my quest in finding a great BBQ spot in Sacramento
