I have been a member of REI for many years, and have purchased many quality outdoor equipment items there. The Roseville store is a smaller store. The staff is friendly and helpful. On my most recent visit, I dropped off our family skis to be tuned and waxed. To my pleasant surprise, the work was completed the same day. The price for having ski tunes and repairs is quite reasonable, and REI members receive a 10% discount off the regular price.

I usually have no qualms with REI because of their superior customer service, but in this case I'm severely disappointed. Bought these pants under their garage sale which I assumed meant it was used and returned. As you can see the back leg is blown out, and where it says non returnable is half covered by a sticker. This is on the consumer (myself) but seriously as cashier should tell you when checking out that they are non returnable. The kicker is it was only half off!! Tried to exchange because of this all but of course they stuck to the non return at all. I can respect that ideal but what I cannot respect is trying to sell a destroyed item back to consumers

Always a great store for all your outdoor needs! When I was a career bartender I always bought my shoes for work here as well because when your standing on your feet all day you need tough comfy shoes!

REI is an outdoors persons dream. There are many different sections to shop in. They have everything from fishing supplies to jackets and shoes. Staff is extremely helpful if you have questions for them. Prices are a little steep, but you know the quality of the product is great.
