I came in with my brother in law, he had a wound on his head, I came it, Saturday around 7 pm they had an hour to close, no one was waiting, the receptionist was very unfriendly. She pretend she couldn’t hear me, I have an accent, also we were mask, I spoke louder, she said I can’t hear you if I don’t see you, then I was yelling and she would ask the same question over again, I got the impression they had to leave and we were being annoying. Finally someone from the back came across and explain the receptionist what I was saying in English, and then they say we can help you, you seem to have a wound and we don’t know what you need. To be in New York, where there is people from all over the world and now be able to try to understand a person who needs treatment is a bad thing. First time there and hopefully last. I get hospital can be nasty but every urgent care place I went the service was awesome but this one.

Was taken in right away. Staff very courteous, knowledgeable, caring and swift. Facility was very clean. I felt very safe and valued. All around excellent, I would highly recommend.

The staff was very courteous and professional. I felt that they followed all safety procedures as necessary. I was so grateful that I seen in a very short period of time. They addressed my needs to the best of their ability. Overall, I would recommend them highly.

I stopped in told the receptionist that I had a referral and without looking it up turned away. \ We don't covid test at this location\. I questioned her even with a referral in the system, again NO CAN DO. Hey Northwell do a better job of educating your employees at that location. Her exact words were go to another location for your test.

As a long time patient of this urgent care, I am very disappointed in what it has turned into. The recent hiring of the new providers could not have been a worse decision as one of them in particular is both condescending and unhelpful. I came in because of pelvic pain and frequent urination and my urinalysis ended up showing signs of an infection. I started the antibiotics, felt a little better, and then was told to stop because my culture was negative. After a week my symptoms kept getting worse so I came back to have another urinalysis done just in case a new infection developed since my regular provider could not see me for another week and they basically turned me away. One of the nurses yelled at me saying I never answered her phone call the day before after coming in for the same reason and claimed I left when she was about to have me seen. Number 1) I was told to leave and 2) she called my sister instead of me and this urgent care always mixes up numbers. I was told there were no appointments until later in the day, which is unbelievable because every person there was on their phone and all rooms were empty and available. As someone who has worked in the healthcare field, this is some of the poorest display of patient care and interaction I have ever seen in my life. I am not sure who is in charge of hiring, but please get PA John George to come back because he was amazing and please fire everyone else ESPECIALLY the one girl in the front desk. I will never be coming back and urge everyone else to please consider another urgent care or CityMD if you have urgent concerns because not only are my symptoms worse and unresolved, but I am now crying in the parking lot and do not want anyone else going through the same thing.
