An idyllic oasis in the midst of suburban sprawl. The main house is wonderfully maintained; furnished and decorated with authentic, beautiful period pieces. The docent is kind and knowledgeable, and her sweet grandson thoroughly enjoys showing off the grounds and several outbuildings. Two and a half hours of history and entertainment for 5. Highly recommended.

*Affordable for large families. AAA discount and -1 for kiddos. CASH ONLY. :)* •This was a neat little plantation tour. Loads of information about the Civil War and the Smith family. We we're a party of 12 with 7 kiddos. Our guide was very friendly and great with answering our kiddos questions. Very patient. We loved walking around and seeing all the original works of the home. Beautiful home and grounds. Must see! When the guided tour was done she led us outside to tour on our own. She did warn us that there have been sightings of copperhead snakes which I personally appreciated since we had little ones with us. (We didn't have an issue with seeing them). Don't pass this place up. You will enjoy. :)
A nice look into life in Roswell back in the 1800's. Very interesting to see the open hearth cooking with real people describing the techniques of the time.
My kids love this place! We got their family pass this year. It's a nice little gem in our neighborhood! Great people and it looks like they treat their animals well!
We had an excellent tour guide, well worth the visit!
