It was super cute We will go back when it's more warm & green so we can enjoy even more. The staff was excellent with explaining everything about the wild life animals. Very relaxing

This Nature Center is full of wonderful surprises. In addition to the wonderful hikes, there is a rescued beaver that lives here, several rescued owls and falcons in aviaries, and an indoor science exhibit that includes some other animals. Our toddler has a blast here.

The birds are awesome to view. My kids LOVED the fairy house trail. Very neat place. There are also reptiles inside the building to view. Be prepared to pay an entrance fee.

We love being members at the CNC! Our youngest enjoys the scavenger hunts, the reading challenges, the trails, and all the new knowledge about nature. We all enjoy the family events, and hiking. This membership has just paid off immensely for us!

Great for older kids but not suggested for children under 3 or those who can’t walk a long time. The playground areas are aimed for older children and the only true flat area for younger children to play on is often (more than half the time) taken and reserved. Camps and tours take priority and areas are not accessible but they do not tell you before booking or even always when you check in. This has happened over half of the times we have visited. You pay for your visit but don’t have full access to everything. This biggest issue is that, again, they won’t tell you certain areas are unavailable until you discover it for yourself. The hiking paths are great but most are not accessible for strollers so limiting to visit with young children. I’ve also never seen the boardwalk actually be open despite it being advertised... The birds are super cool to watch though! The work that they do is wonderful rehabilitating animals. I’m just frustrated that there’s not a clear schedule of events or anything so you never know what is going to be available until you’ve arrived.
