Do yourself and your family a favor and get a reservation to visit here! It’s an amazing experience, and very COVID-19 safe guided tour. You will visit a unique oasis and witness natural life all around you!

A beautiful place to visit! Right now, they're doing \tours\ (truthfully, more of an escorted hike) but they may go back to open admission post-pandemic. We went in the afternoon so we didn't see as many animals (some nice vultures, though!) but the scenery is drop-dead gorgeous. It was a pretty hot day out, but once you get going in the hike, it's all shaded.

It a perfect day trip from San Antonio. The center has fantastic hill county views and excellent hiking paths. Will definitely go back in the spring.

100% need to go. This was great! They now have an online reservation system and it was easy to operate. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Our 10am tour was on time and waited for others to use restroom/check-in. Our guide, Megan, was exciting and knowledgeable. She was great with all ages. Although hot, it cooled off as you hiked down the trail. Fair warning, there are a ton on steep stairs (which you also have to climb back up to leave). The waterfall area was so pretty. You even get to walk behind it and visit the neighboring entrance cave. Tour was about 2 hours long. Tips: Get the tour- it's worth it. Bring a camera. Wear good walking shoes. Be ready for stairs. Bring water.

We had a great visit and our tour guide was very nice and informative. Due to Covid there was a limited group so we basically had a personalized tour and took our time enjoying the views and took a ton pictures with our family with no others in the shot. Well worth it I highly recommend!
