Christianson has been my go to vendor for the past 5 years whenever I need service for AC or Heat on my rental property. The latest has been a huge disappointment. I was still being charged 155 for a one week late \Emergency call\ made a week earlier, I would have cancelled the service if they had called me before it sent its technician to my tenant ( as they said would inform us before going there , but neither I or my tenant get any notice before they decided to show up , and was told because they happened to be on the neighborhood , wow) as I have contacted other vendor for the service. And I was just told the 155 would cover ONLY the diagnosis , any repairs ) labor and material ) would be on top of that. I totally get it, Christianson could not make it last week because of the crazy winter storm, even though the road condition was not slippery when the service was booked and agreed that they would be there the next day.(Feb 14). They call the next day said they could not make it and will call me back on Feb 15. Well, that (the call) did not happen. Hence I did not expect the requested service will happen, not at least until the storm was over. On Feb 19 (Fri) , the technician showed up in the door without even informing us ( me or the tenant) - a week after the initial \ emergency request\ which I said I would have cancelled it since it was no longer an emergency and I have actually arranged other vendor since I have not heard from Christianson for a week. I will still pay the 155 for the \ emergency diagnosis \, but Christianson has now on lost my business , I will not use them from today onwards as I think I am being taken advantages of.

I used them a few months ago to replace the indoor unit at a rental home and the install went great. I was very pleased. And I was happy to find a company I could rely on to do a good job. Fast forward to yesterday, I called them to check a Trane unit at another home. The fee to come out was a reasonable 75. The tech came out and found that a mouse had chewed through a wire at the outdoor unit. They wanted an additional 120 to splice in a new wire and reprogram my thermostat. When I asked why the thermostat would need to be reprogrammed, he stumbled over his explanation, finally saying the error codes needed to be cleared. I know for a fact that you only need to reboot the thermostat via the wall switch to clear the error codes (I was right, btw). He calls me back and agrees to just change the wire for 80. Fine. It's still expensive, but at least it'll be done. When I checked the job this morning, I could see the old wire leading right up into the unit. I'll edit this if I find a spliced in wire when I check tomorrow morning, but I assume he just used the slack in the wire to reconnect to the control board. In addition, he broke the plastic housing on top of the condensor in two places, and left the sharp edge of the panel rubbing against the wires going into the unit. See the photos. When I called to complain this morning, the service manager told me it was his honest opinion I had intended all along to find everything wrong I could with the job so that I could get out of paying for it. At least he agreed to refund the entire amount, but now I have an outdoor condensor that looks broken as I try to sell the house. I have all the calls recorded in case anyone in management at Christianson wants to hear them.

After having no hot water and water leaking from top of water heater on a cold Saturday morning I called Christianson! I spoke with Teresa who calmed me down and answered all my questions and dispatched the plumbers, Teresa also went above and beyond by making a house call and had her husband turn the water valve off for me! I can’t thank them enough, Teresa you are an asset to this company! The plumber (Matt) and his helper showed up ready to assess the problem and got right to work by replacing my old water heater! He explained every step and cleaned up afterwards. Great job guys! All of you deserve a huge Kudos! Keep up the great work Christianson! Merry Christmas

I called for simple maintenance check, AC and Heater. They stated those were 2 separate dates/techs which was fine . Heater maintenance was done but been waiting several weeks for the AC guy to show up. Finally called and they said that I had to call in to schedule a separate call for AC maintenance. Not what I was told before. Now soonest service call for simple AC maintenance check is yet a month away. Poor follow up and Customer Service. Will never use Christianson again.

As usual, your technician was extremely friendly and helpful with the simple maintenance check. He even found an issue with the newly installed system. He didn't have to say anything about it (since you installed it too - he could have just fixed it and been quiet about it), but he did (a wire was knocked loose during install). Mistakes can happen but it's how you handle them (with full transparency and candor) that makes us so happy to have you install and service our systems over 2 houses for the past 22 years. Thanks!
