Dr Kenneth Ellis has been my GI doctor for over 20 years. However, stay away! He has become extremely reckless. Could not get in to see him for 2 years. I was having to have blood transfusions every 2 months. I could only get through to his PA Kara. Couple of doctors from his team did emergency testing on me and found suspicious tumors in my espionage and stomach. I had biopsy’s done ( never been able to get the results) but was sent to an esophagus specialist at University Hospital for emergency surgery. Ended up having 2 surgeries within a month. I was told that the tumor in my stomach needed to be addressed. Dr at University Hospital doesn’t do stomach. Called to get an appointment with DR KENNETH ELLIS AND GET MY RECORDS. I CANT SEE HIM?!? Why?!? Well all of a sudden I have an outstanding balance and he will not talk to me? What balance? I haven’t seen him. My GP got my records. This tumor he failed to give me the results for 2 years now are worrisome and I have to find a new GI doctor to handle it. STAY AWAY! I was hospitalized 9 times through the ER because I was throwing up so much blood. He never did anything! I would have died if I would not have gone to a surgeon at another hospital. Now! I have to fight for my life again because of this doctor’s failure to address the oath he took! I will post this every place I can because I am sure I am not the only person this is happening to. I have amazing insurance and money to pay. This is just a real serious problem of a doctor’s failure.
I adore Dr. Ellis and his assistant Stephanie! They were SO nice and went out of their way to get my meds ordered and even delivered! He also did my colonoscopy. I know that no one wants that test, but you're going to have to get it, so choose Dr. Ken Ellis! They have an awesome patient portal where your messages are answered the very same day! (Kudos Stephanie). Thank you both for a refreshing experience; not a lot of doctors do that these days! Mary \Jean\ Scheid!
Dr. Ellis is a very nice man with an excellent bedside manner. My procedure today was fast and painless and he made me feel at ease before and after. I would very highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.
So friendly. So efficient. As much as you may not want to go through the procedures, Dr Ellis makes the entire experience as pleasant as it can be. Great guy.
