All of the people at Tejas are excellent. I always feel that they are dedicated to providing me with the best care available. I have seen Jennifer a number of times and she is awesome. She spends as much time as is required to resolve my issues.

Originally came in for vocal chord issues and walked away with so much more!! December 2020 had my very first ever surgery here for my deviated septum and breathing issues. I can of a surety say my breathing has improved on a major level and the kindness and professionalism and skill of Dr. Tamez and his staff is why I come here. They have provided me help for total body improvements and not just breathing and sinus troubles. I don’t often find a doctor I can trust but I have confidence and trust in Dr Tamez and his staff. I recommend this place to anyone that wants true genuine thorough help with their ENT related issues.

I have had nothing but good experiences with the office staff, nursing staff and other medical professionals. Sadly the same cannot be said for the doctor. I went in for my septum surgery, and for reasons I am still not completely clear on I was woken up out of anesthesia to be told that my surgery had been cancelled by Dr Tamez. It seems he and his wife had gotten into an argument with my husband. Again, I wasn’t there, so my understanding of what they argued about is unclear. However. I was woken out of anesthesia, had to argue to have my surgery done, then was put back under and everything went smoothly from there. I assume. Every other interaction with folks employed by this office has been stellar. This one incident has, hopefully understandably, soured me on the entire practice.

Staff is super nice . Saw the NP Kester once and is nice but seems to have a lot more to go on learning each patient as we are different . Just because we live in Texas does not mean we all suffer from allergies and or a sinus problem. Headaches and migraines happen for various reasons . Sent me to a PT for they’re professional judgement and they wanted an X-ray and he did not order it and told me it’s “out of their scope practice “ lol what ?! Also said my throat feels dry in the morning and told me I am sleeping with my mouth open . Umm, no there’s actually a condition for “dry sinuses” . seems like they do a trial and errors for money purposes before even treating you for your care. Office visits are over the top pricey . Aspire Sinus & Allergy are great and more effective for patient satisfaction.

I'm completely satisfied with the work Dr Tamez has done in my surgery and post-op care. He is very thorough and thoughtful, and advocates a holistic approach, working with my dentist and my sleep doctor, to help me improve and maintain my health in all these areas. I recommend him highly!
