Great place to shoot just please pick up after yourself. Also you may or may not be able to get in with all vehicles. This depends on when the trail was last leveled. I’ve been when you definitely need a truck to get in and other times where the trail has been worked on and a car could easily drive in it just depends. I would also call ahead of time to the ranger station or local police station as the area some times gets shut down for different reasons.

Shoot at your own risk. Lots of trash and casings left everywhere. There are multiple spots to shoot along the trail. I went through March 2017 and trail was very rough, but doable with 2wd. A year or two ago it was possible with a car, but recent rains have washed out road in places. Further along trail (many miles to east) trail is very rough (March), but probably ok now.
You can definitely make it in with any vehicle that has not been lowered all stock vehicles should make it ive seen civics out there numerous times. Be safe be responsible be respectful youll have a great time
Massive dip in the road less than a quarter mile in. It was muddy for some reason as well. Would not recommend anything less than a high clearance 4x4. Also careful of other shooters in the area, when we pulled in there were unattended children sweeping a loaded rifle in every direction, including at our vehicle. Recommend finding a better location.
Close to home, great place to let out a few rounds on the weekend.
