The manager was very rude, we were treated like second class citizens. I guess if you don't fit their mold then they are ok being rude to you. I will not be spending my money here.

Amazing selection of clothes shoes merchandise and inflatables. Like visiting a Kinnukans or something. Nice staff. Clean facilities and lots of boats to view as well. 24 hour gas pump which is so nice. In the summer they have a BBQ truck for food but otherwise the food selection isn't great.

We go down to marina with friends for a day in their boat. The dock staff is friendly and attentive. The boat is typically waiting and gassed and the guys in the dock are right there to help push you out or help tie the boat off. Inside the people are pleasant bit the service checking out could be quicker. My friend said their prices had gone up for boat storage, but not enough to make him move the boat to another storage provider. Typically a positive experience.

This is our third summer renting a boat from the Ridge Marinas on lake Martin. Our two other times, we got great boats with excellent service. This year we had reserved a Deck Boat. When I called to confirm the reservation, that boat was no longer available, and we were upgraded to a Ski Nautique. We were prepared to pay more for the nicer boat, but Heather Hammond at the desk honored our initial price quote for the deck boat. The Nautique was great, but unfortunately a belt broke when we were about a 40 minute boat ride to our home rental and a 20 minute tow to the Ridge. Of course, this all happened around 8:30pm when everything is closed. We were fortunate enough to flag down a boater who towed us to the Marina, and had planned on Ubering home, but none were available. My wife took a chance and emailed a Russell Marina address. We got a call back in about 5 minutes from Keith (I think) Keith got in contact with Jeff Ellis, the GM at The Ridge who worked on getting us a ride. It turned out that Dave Commander, the President of Russell Marine was our ride home. He brought all 9 of us home in his personal vehicle, giving us a history of the Russell family on the way home. The next morning, Jeff called and gave us a couple options for boats of our choice and we were back in business. Daniel went though the new boat with me and showed me all the features. Mistakes or equipment failures can happen at any time. It's good to know that the folks at Russell Marine and specifically the Ridge Marina in this case went above and beyond to ensure our safety and to help us have a great vacation.
