What a great trip and experience. The crew was super friendly and knowledgable. There were college students on board sharing information about the whales, location, and the ocean which made the trip educational as well. Can't wait to go again and take my family.

Outstanding experience! Not just a one time experience for those who love the ocean and her bounty. Wonderful trip in June and expect another fabulous trip on this coming Sunday July 16, 2017. My favorite summer excursions. Best whale watching experience on the East Coast. Guides and Biologist are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Captain and staff the best. Highly recommend.

My group did a 4 hour fishing trip. The boat left promptly at 8am and was at a fishing ground 15 minutes later. The target fish was mackerel and the boat poles had simple rigs designed to attract that fish, no baiting required. The fish came in waves and by the end of four hours my 4 person group had caught 50 mackerel! The deck hands had them filleted before we pulled in to the harbor. This was an excellent trip with a helpful crew and lots of fish. I will definitely do it again!

Took a trip on the Atlantic Queen II on 6/21 and had a wonderful time. The trip lasted about 4 hours during which we saw several whales including Fin and Meinke. The staff and crew were very knowledgeable and friendly. By way out of comparison, we took another trip out of Gloucester on 6/24 aboard one of the most popular boats. It was standing room only and we spent the entire trip chasing one Humpback around with the other "most popular" whale watch boat. After 1/2 hour, most of the passengers were visibly bored and no longer taking pictures. We chased for another 1/2 hour and headed in. The Atlantic Queen II was definitely the better trip and better value. There definitely seemed to be more of an effort to keep the passengers engaged as well as educated. The "other guys" seemed to center on education. Great job, guys! We'll definitely be back with friends and family.

Great folks. Went on a fishing trip with my 5 year old nephew and my sister. The trip was great. we caught a lot of mackerel and a few pollacks. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The boat was clean and had plenty of space for moving around. The trip lasted 4 hours all together. We had a really great time and I can't wait to go back with my family.

We hit the jackpot and saw at least 25 humpback whales! It was magical. The staff also took the time to engage and educate our children. This is the place to go for New England whale watching.
