I have the fondest of memories of attending here, but also the saddest of memories. - John Wesley Bird, ‘81

I love this school!! I grew up in Maine (I'm a 2014 Greely alum) and moved back in Sep 2018 and started working here in the Communications / Admissions office. From the moment I started, I immediately felt supported and welcomed by my coworkers here in the Alumni house. One of my favorite parts of my job is photographing our events and creating student/staff highlights. It's easy to capture beautiful moments and share incredible stories when our school is as amazing as it is. Our HUGE range of courses, extracurriculars, athletics, and arts programming allows our students the chance to explore and grow. It has made me think about my time in high school - how awesome it would have been to experience TA before my time in college... It's truly been an incredible experience working as TA's Marketing Coordinator - I'm super happy I ended up here!

I ended up dropping out in 2015, due to an insane amount of bullying from both students and teachers. French teacher and math teacher both openly made fun of me for having questions/not understanding. French teacher even took it as far as to grade my tests (nobody else’s) in front of the whole class and only point out what I did wrong, not what was done right. When this was brought to the schools attention, they honestly couldn’t care less. And when they were let known that I would be dropping out, they did not care AT ALL. I was just a number to them. This school doesn’t care about their students whatsoever and it really shows. I was a struggling student who needed help, and I was denied. I feel 1 star is way too generous.

Had a fun year here. I met a lot of people and enjoyed the classes. I'm never gonna get used to Maine weather though.
