I can't believe I've never been to this beach before! I loved it! Nice long beach to walk, beautiful views with the dunes in the distance. The water was relatively calm, no seaweed and not very crowded. Green head flies and no See ums didn't come out till 5:30 p.m. the temperature of the water was great at this time of year! Looks like a great place to go camping too! I will definitely be back again next year

Picked up some ocean plastic left by others. Otherwise a beautiful beach adjacent to cape cod canal. Wonderful bike trail the whole length of canal. Also great fishing. Ohhh also a whale in canal this afternoon!

A beautiful day to take a walk to Sagamore Heights. Walked the nature trail across from the fishing pier. Trail is well marked and great fun. A perfect January day.

This a Massachusetts state park so there is a fee to get in. Off season there is no fee. Beautiful place to go. There is a long paved path along the whole canal, which is good for biking, running, walking. People also fish along the banks of the canal. There is a separate area for camping that is mostly RV spots with a few tent sites. Lastly there is the beach. It's a very nice beach with the canal off to the right. There are bathrooms and a snack bar, which is also seasonal. The only drawback is that it's a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the beach. Very nice place don't hesitate to visit.

A great beach half the way to Cape Cod and no need to cross the bridge. The beach is wide and easy to find a spot. There are changing and shower facilities as well as a small fast food shop. The parking lot is huge and right next to the beach. The water is not so warm but gentle and sloping gradually so it is good for little kids. You can easily spend all day without getting bored. The sand is nice but there are a few rocky spots.
