Hands down, the most delicious Mediterranean food I've EVER had. Excellent service, totally affordable. I'm really excited to have found this gem! New favorite restaurant in the valley.

The family that owns this shop also owned the original Sahara in downtown Tempe on Mill Ave near University. This is their new location, on the NE corner of Southern and McClintock. I love this place, the people that work there, and of course I love their food. The new location is very nicely decorated. If you went to the old place, you will especially like this one. There's nothing on the menu I don't like, but I especially like the Vegetarian Combination. For appetizers try the babaganoug, the humus, the falafel, or the labneh. For a quick lunch there's always the pita wraps with gyro or chicken. And you must try the lamb shank. It's so moist and delicious. They have many other enjoyable main course, as well. For desert I like the baklava with pecans or pistachio, and you can top it off with their Turkish coffee. If you want a nice, clean place with a quiet, welcoming atmosphere and wonderful food, give this place a try. You will love it too.
