The food here is amazing. We went for a preview and I was completely blown away as to how the chef is able to blend different flavors and textures with a range of Asian flare. I had a pork belly appetizer which seems to be the signature appetizer. The salad seemed to be underwhelming but a good way to clean the palate for the entree. They really shine on the entrees. I had a salmon dish and it was not onky served in a very nice plating style but it was absolutely delicious. It had a miso flavoring that was delicate and not heavy. For dessert we had a green tea cheesecake - it looked like ice cream but it was a mousse style cheesecake that was fantastic. It is a fine dining establishment.

A solid experience at Sai's last night. The menu itself will make your mouth water, unique combinations of classic flavors that I had never seen before. Everything is portioned well, and if you get a salad or soup the entree can absolutely be two meals. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the meats complimented the main flavors of the dish, all in all fantastic food. We were the only customers there until the end of our leisurely dinner, so it was quiet and personal. Even still large gaps of time went by without service, especially when we were trying to get our food boxed up and get the check. That on top of the very high price tag takes this to 4 stars, for the money I would hope my mind be blown in every way. Sai's was fantastic, but is segregating itself to the wealthier diners.

Nice ideas, but the execution needs a little work and some of the recipes seem over-thought. Two of basic concepts of this attractive, off-the-beaten-path fusion restaurant seem to be (a) that extended sous-vide cooking times should result in very tender meat and fish and (b) that it is desirable to combine as many trendy concepts as possible into a single dish. Unfortunately, this did not prove to be the case, although there were some nice moments in the meal. The salmon with truffle-miso sauced vegetables was dry and to our taste, overdone (although presented on a delightful mix of tiny brussels sprouts, squash and other roast veggies in a miso sauce). There was no hint of truffle flavor in the truffle miso sauce -- although the sauce was very tasty and nicely complemented the flavors of the salmon and the vegetables. The presentation (shown) with a garnish of hard-fried salmon skin was very attractive, although the garnish proved to be only for visual purposes The boneless beef short-rib in massaman curry (also shown) although cooked 48 hours sous-vide, was something short of tender. The flavor and textures of the sweet potato slice and other vegetables nicely complemented the flavor of the beef. Perhaps a little less attention to the mechanics of preparation and a little more attention to the actual texture and tenderness of the resulting dishes might be warranted. The green-tea cheesecake was a nice surprise at the end -- subtly flavored and with interesting textural and flavor contrasts between the crisp meringue base, the creamy cheesecake and the fruit compote. The restaurant has only been open six months and may still be developing. There was enough good that it is on our list to re-visit in a few months to see if it has matured.

Bad! Service, unfriendly hostess, Food is good but not worth the high price. We didn't like the atmosphere

The 48 hour smoked short rib is the best. Open up your evening with an appetizer of Brussel sprouts that will make you see colors differently, (in a good way)!

Excellent! We have visited three times in the past two months and have been impressed each time. We have ordered only off the specialty menu, trying the recommended house specialties. My favorite is Chef Eddys Chicken, his version of General Tsao's. The salmon house special is unique and outstanding. Nice, intimate atmosphere--original dishes. The chef has visited our table on two of our visits. We enjoy Asian restaurants and Chef Eddys is now in our restaurant rotation.

Just out of sync. Chicken teriyaki was 27? Drinking Noodles for 13 we're great and well worth it.
