We purchased our home in July of 2018. As of July 2020 we still do not have our C of O because the home was not set according to County Code which is different from state code. We were told that Baird would work with us but in two years we have gotten no help. We finally, just this month, have taken it upon ourselves to find a foundation contractor to try to bring our home to code. The Planning Inspector will soon be tired of waiting, which I have to say he has been very patient but when the fines start, they can be as much as 300 per day. This was our first experience buying a mobile home and we have learned a lot the hard way.

Chad was awesome to work with through the whole process. I highly recommend going through him if you are gonna buy a modular! Since day 1 he was friendly and understanding of the situation and was willing to go the extra mile for me!

Bait and switch!!!! I purchased a 28x80 modular home from here 14-15 years ago. The home was red taped all over the interior from the factory! Ceilings had to be redone, cabinets came without handles. Foundation wasnt properly capped with 2x8, septic wasnt properly attached under the home, so after living in the home for 3 months had septic water all under my new home. Which in turn had to argue with them for 3 months to get them to do anything. After threats of legal action finally they had a guy come and he spent 2 weeks tearing out foundation blocks and putting 30 tons of lime under my home. Then after he messed up my perimeter drains and my yard I recieve a call from the guy who did the foundation work and he said they were trying to blame him for there shotty work!!! Then they were trying to blame my dogs? If the main drain on my home was properly installed to begin with there would be no way in hell a dog could do anything to hurt the drain. I guess what i am getting at is dont buy a manufactured home. For the money and time you think your saving, isnt worth the bad taste and feeling of paying 30 years for something that shouldve and couldve been alot better!
