This place is amazing. It is very clean and close to Montauk state park. It is close to tubing/rafting rentals. It is horse and dog friendly. We love tent camping here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are public bathrooms with showers at no extra charge. Water pressure can be questionable if there are lots of campers. They have ice, firewood, and propane on site you can buy at very reasonable prices. Weve had great experiences here and cant wait to go back!

We originally had reservations at a different campground, when we arrived we quickly realized there was no way they could support our rig (1 ton Ram with a 43' 5th wheel). 2 campgrounds later we were given a brochure for Pinecrest. I called and Marie assured me over the phone they could handle our rig with no problem. We had a variety of large, wonderfully shady sites to choose from upon arrival and they have several with full hook ups (water, electric and sewer) that, was a wonderful surprise and one we took full advantage of. They do have super clean showers/bathrooms as well for guests that need them. And the checkin office is a nicely stocked store as well. We knew immediately that we would love it at Pinecrest. Ethan and Marie, salt of the earth good people, very attentive to their guests needs. The Current river is close by to fish or hang out on a hot day. They do allow horses but they are separated from guests who may not appreciate the smell ... we chose to camp right in the middle of them because we love seeing and hearing the horses and we don't mind them at all but there are plenty of options for those that don't want to be around them! If we could give them a 10 rating, we would, because everything about Pinecrest was fantastic ... and this was only our first time there! We cannot wait to head back there as soon as we can.

Beautiful, clean camp ground, bath rooms spotless. Trails are clean, but we all know any time your by a river the rocks are in abundance. Owners are so nice, helpful and awesome. You'll love it!!

Absolutely adored our stay here and will gladly be returning. Staff was helpful and friendly our entire stay going above and beyond. We arrived late after closing time and they were still happy to see us. Very knowledgeable and provided information for local attractions and free swimming spots. Camp was clean, prices reasonable, items available for purchase. We will definitely be back anytime we travel to Montauk.

I just returned from a 5 day fishing trip and can't say enough about this campground. The hosts, Marie and Ethan, are great people and very accommodating. I've already made plans to return in September. I highly recommend this place for camping.

It was a beautiful site, and very close to a lot of fun attractions! The scenery around the area is one of a kind, there is a road called K that drives beside the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, be sure to stop and take it in.

I cannot thank Ethan and his family enough for their hospitality this week. This is my third visit to Pinecrest, and every time we visit, Ethan outdoes himself. The campground is clean and well maintained, and the cabin is an incredibly value for those that are less keen on "camping," or for those times of year when a tent is a bit chilly. For those that are avid horseback riders, you have excellent access to all of the local trails.
