I have referred several of my friends to Attorney Jim Dozier. They have all been singularly impressed. He is always so well prepared, and impressive in court. In one case my friend couldn’t believe how the other attorney and the judge in his case actually asked Mr. Dozier for the precedent he quoted!

I cannot begin to express just how effective and professional this firm is. Not only am I here to speak graces concerning my dealings with Mr. Dozier, but I would like to sway the bar against the reviews that are less than 5 stars. My case wasn't complicated, but it was a close call. Mr. Dozier responded in less than an hour and also gave me his personal cell phone number. He told me exactly what he would do and in about 4 months all was wrapped up and concluded. I went from a criminal charge to a simple infraction. He was over 50% cheaper than competitors and clearly cared about his clients. I would compare Mr. Dozier to fictional character Saul Goodman for all of Saul's redeeming qualities: fair, affordable, and most importantly he actually cares about the little guys.
If you're looking for a criminal lawyer, look no further than Attorney James H. Dozier Jr. Jim is amazing at what he does. I had the opportunity of watching many other attorneys in the court room either look barely competent or sleazy but Jim took command of the room, the conversation (a couple of folks literally had their mouths open). He is a seasoned veteran at practicing law, wicked smart and genuinely cares. There's a reason why he gets amazing results. If you're in Monterey County (Salinas, Monterey, Carmel, Pacific Grove, Seaside, etc.) you are doing yourself a disservice by not calling Jim for a consultation.
Mr. Dozier along with his assistant Taylor are the real McCoy. They are straight shooters and to the point. Very affordable but yet they are the best at what they do. You won't get the un around\ and over charged for a lack of incentive as Mr. Dozier is a real bulldog and takes care of business. I would highly recommend Mr. Dozier to anyone in the Monterey Bay area because in my opinion, you will be wasting your time with anybody else. This is an easy 5 stars.
James has help me numerous times not only for myself, my family, and also close friends. He has not lost a case for my family, in fact James has exceeded in what he stated he would be able to do. In other words he went above and beyond expectations!!! Trust his council and follow his expert advice during the process, by doing this, it is a lot less scary and stressful for you and less he has to fix along the way. YES I would HIGHLY recommend James Dozier !!!
