Love the ability to camp so close to beach. Great base camp for day trips or a drive up the coast. Sites have water and electric but no sewer. There is a dump station. Recommend having a portable sewer tank. There are showers and bathrooms located down the center of the park along with a small camp store that has ice and wood. Was disappointed that they raised rates for out of state to 70 a night this year double what it was. Covid was also every other site which gave a lot more room and privacy as the place is normally full.

Arcade (Joe's play land) was fun and they have a new card system instead of coins, and they give you 2 free dollars if u spend 20, so that's one thing new and much easier specially with lil ones, no coins to worry about.And they are open everyday until 8pm , maybe later on weekends all winter..Masks a MUST..

Absolutely beautiful place! Great birding spot. The marsh is great for northern harriers this time of year. All of the parking lots were closed which was very confusing and the only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. There were some vehicles in each lot so I'm a little confused as to why they were blocked off the day I went.

Beautiful spot - hadn't been since I was a child. Went for birding & photography. A great day finished with a beautiful sunset.
