This place has a great vibe and fantastic burgers. Also the staff is very friendly. They also have San Diablo churros on Friday nights and they are freaking great. Check this place out!

I was excited to try this place after hearing all good things about the food/drinks from people. We walked in on a Sunday around 1:30, were greeted and seated promptly and then left alone for over 10 minutes. Unfortunately, we left before anyone finally came to greet us again, even though the 2 other tables there at the time were actually being attended to. It's highly unlikely I'll ever be back, especially since the menu did appear to be on the pricey side like other reviews mention.

Stopped by a few weeks ago after passing this restaurant several times. The bad reviews scared us so that's why we never went. Yes, I miss the old epic, but we were very pleased with our food and service. The nachos are great and we thought the prices weren't too bad either. Folks need to get over food prices, that's what things cost these days. We are taking another couple there tonight, hopefully it's as good as the first time. Cheers!

Absolutely incredible! I travel to Utah often for work and have been enjoying Black Sheep since discovering it! The food is exceptional, the service is wonderful! Our server was attentive to our needs, checked on us just enough and knew the menu. The location and design is gorgeous!

I dig the atmosphere. Epic has some pretty decent brews too.

The food and beer were great! We had some pretty mediocre service, though. It wasn't very crowded, but our server seemed to forget about us. After a while, someone who appeared to be a manager came over got things moving again for us. The service was better after that. I'm sure our experience was just a fluke. The food and beers are awesome and that's what matters the most!

Pretty Good. I don't know if I am imagining it but I think when it was the Annex the service was better. I don't know if they are under new ownership or just rebranded. But it was good. I ordered the noodle dish and it was delicious. My date liked that the beer menu was still the same. The only problem was that it was pretty slow. When we arrived half the restaurant was still empty but they still made us wait 30 minutes to seat. Kind of funny cause there was just us two.

Slow service, and the food is absolutely overpriced for what you are getting. It was a very disappointing "upscale dining" experience. The beer from Epic Brewery, however, was exceptional. Not nearly enough so to compensate for the inattentive, condescending server and sub-par food quality, however. I am not one to write reviews publicly online, but due to the undeserved snobby treatment, I was compelled to do so. I won't be going back, and I would suggest you spend your hard-earned money at one of the many fine restaurants in the Sugarhouse area.
