Super excited to find this place! Fresh meat from right next door. All the beef options were from Fred today Excited to make this a consistent stop. Chef said the place is full of families of all ethnicities on the weekends - so awesome. NOTE to those who don't know what Halal means no pork here!

I was so amazed when I went here. I call after looking up places that sold goat meat. Everywhere else said "No, we don't have it" when I heard yes I didn't care the distance. I was so happy I took the short drive downtown. I walked in and was first shock seeing this goat skinned and looking fresh. Then started walking around to see what they sold. The gentleman named Bryan I believe saw my excitement. He asked if it was my first time there and then gave me a tour. He showed me the freezers and each room where the animals were processed. (I don't like the word butchered). He then took me into the Barn it smelled so fresh. So the animals looked amazing. The picture you see on the web page really represents what you'll see when you walk in. From the employees professionalism to the quality of the meat and eggs I give this establishment a 5 and wish I could give more.

The ONLY place I buy my eggs. The staff are friendly, and the place is super clean. I've bought ground beef, beef tongue, lamb salmon and whole chicken here before. The ONLY things I wish they'd carry is raw milk, and animal fats like lard and tallow, but I'm sure thats a whole licensing thing. Anyway, please stop by and visit! They had a special once where if you bought 5 chickens the 6th one was free (can't quite remember), I picked out my chickens and in about 15 minutes they were processed and bagged up for me! The quality is far superior to what we get at grocery stores

We are fortunate to have Alamo Farms as an option in our community because they are professional, great pricing, and practice proper hygiene and cleanliness. They have a wonderful selection on live stock to choose from.

This is July 2020 and I visited them last Friday. These guys just opened few weeks ago. Alamo Farms is the best Meat shop and farm I have seen so far. They have all kind of meat cuts. They also have live chicken, lamb and goat which they will slaughter for you right there. The whole area is very clean including the slaughter and processing area. They also have a small shop inside with all kind of dairy products, cheese, eggs and what not. They may NOT be the cheapest in town but they are very good. I would recommend this to anyone and would love to visit them again.

Yesterday was my 1st time here. As I walked in, I was instantly impressed at how neat and organized everything is. I had heard you can choose which animals you would like. They showed me where the animals were kept and I was pleased as to how the animals were maintained and did not appear to be stressed or inhumane. The area where they are kept is very clean as well. The prices for the meat were very competitive to other markets I've been to and you can clearly see the quality on display. My questions were answered by some very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'm glad to say I will be coming back in the future.

This place is a welcomed addition to the San Antonio fresh market scene. Walking in we were greeted by every employee, with actual EYE CONTACT (imagine that)! We were able to get a tour of the facilities, which were extremely clean and well kept. We purchased chicken and beef products. The eggs price and flavor are worth the trip alone. The food was delicious and knowing it was fresh, even better. The owner of this family business truly wants to serve his customers. Five stars is not enough.

Great products and staff. Food is as fresh as you can get without living on a farm. Can't say enough nice things about the knowledge and courtesy of the staff. As a bbq pitmaster I encourage you to try fresh over the grocery store meats and you won't regret it.
