I have been dealing with Alpha Filtronics for as long as I can remember. I am on my second water softener system only because my first one lasted so long I had to replace it because of the giant steps that had been made in efficiency and ease of use since I bought my first system. Cyrus is a gem and is willing to share as much technical information as you are willing to accept. He does not push overpriced products. He shows you the value of the different systems and what you can expect from each. I have referred Alpha Filtronics to both family and friends and to the person they bought systems (water softening and/or reverse osmosis) that met their needs with NO pressure at the point of sale. I just installed my 2nd RO. What a gorgeous system. It was so easy to install given I already had an RO system. But looking at it objectively, as a DIY guy it wouldn't have been much of a challenge as a new install. Please don't go to HomeDepot or Lowe's and expect to get either a water softener or reverse osmosis system that has a user life worth considering. Even if you are looking at selling your property, cheap is still cheap. I have been given nothing other that good products at reasonable pricing for everything I have purchased at Alpha Filtronics. Excellent company and customer service. Have been customer for 20 years and have water filtration and water softener systems that work great. Also, buying our daughter, who lives in Dallas, a super water filtration system and taking to her for her wedding gift! Cyrus is an expert in his business and always helpful and very nice to talk to. All workers are very professional and always so knowledgeable. Recommend any service/equipment offered as the best you can possibly get!
Moved into town recently and quickly realized a water softener is a must here in San Antonio. These guys were great. Family owned so they have a lot to lose if they are not great. Didn't push anything, but gave me all options and costs and gave me as much info to help me make a decision. The owner himself came out day of installation to supervise and make sure the job was well done. They followed up with me a couple of weeks later and came out to make sure everything was running properly. Came out a SECOND time a few months later to check again. Awesome people and awesome service!
We were very impressed with the experience and knowledge of the owner which helped to educate us on the entire water softener industry and pick the right unit for our home. Their communication was excellent, and the installation went smoothly. We have been enjoying our purified soft water for about a month now, and it's great to be able to drink from the tap. Also thrilled to know that our appliances will get longer life now that the hard water is removed from our plumbing system. Definitely call this company if you're looking to improve your water situation!
Highly recommended. We've had an AF Water Softener for more than a decade and in that time it's needed service ONCE. Any time I've called them AF has been beyond professional and kind. I send everyone who asks to them.
