Not much to look at but it does provide! Safe place to sleep and good food to eat for breakfast and dinner. These are good folks! Be sure and get there between 3:30pm and 8 p.m. to check in and before 5:30 if you want to eat dinner. Do you get a shower, clean bed and surprisingly good food. I would recommend it in a heartbeat over most other resources in this town. First three consecutive nights are free after that it's 12.50 at night.

As a resident there I can pay high compliments to the Tvol staff , Melvin, and Danny. The place is falling apart the a/c doesn't work nor will they bother to fix it. The water was busted for over 3 months by the time I showed up and nothing but cold water for a month and a half into my stay. The director (collin) does not give a flip about his job and on several occasions has left in the afternoon leaving a resident behind the desk to answer the phones and go through people's personal information. Hardly ever can they live up to the moto \doing the most good\. The price went from 10.00 a night to 12.50 a night starting Jan. 1 2017. Which I have no idea why since we typically are under duress in our stay our meals most of the time are nothing but bread and sweets, how is a guy supposed to have the energy to go to work and get on his feet starving??? I have never seen such injustice and prejudice from a place claiming to help those in need. Among many other concerns the one thing about this review I want to be clear on is I'm grateful for a place to stay , but never in my life have I seen such blatant disregard for human life in the way this organization is being run here. If I had to make some changes I would definitely fire a few people because going to the hope center and reaching out for help is absolutely useless.

If you need to stay at a shelter- this is a pretty good place to stay, ask to do volunteer work if so and enjoy benefits. Also a good place to do volunteer work for the community.

Plumbing leaks into the dinning room that's the large ice chest full of water coming from the restrooms to the dining room yuk

Absolutely the worst Salvation Army shelter I ever visited. Don't waste your time here, just find a nice bridge and relax. They typically toss 3 dumpsters worth of food out per week instead of offering it to guest.??? I stayed 4 days and then under a bridge for a month before I got my apartment because of the nonsense going on there.
