Not recommended. I will allow the company to review my customer records and provide their own feedback. 1st it took weeks to get someone out. Then it took forever to get a bid. You provided me with a bid, correct. THEN said you incorrectly bid and had to increase the amount and wanted to send out your \concrete guy\ (I don't know why you didn't do that in the first place) and then he never showed up. I called after the no-show, one of the many missed appointments by Freedom Outdoor Living, and this time the owner (you) and the concrete guy were supposed to come out. Again the \concrete guy\ couldn't make it (9am) as he was \held up at another job\. The owner (you) were parked down the street (supposedly) waiting for him and he (the owner you) decided not to come by either. After that I no longer contacted you, and y'all no longer contacted me. So, no, you never sent a bid. And you were interested until you started making no-show and bidding errors and knew the relationship was deteriorating.

I researched 21 deck builders in the San Antonio area. I created a spreadsheet to accurately compare each business, which included their web site, warranty, yelp, google and Better Business Bureau reviews. I then called the businesses in my top six ranking. Based on their reply or no reply, I invited three to do an on site visit and bid. Freedom Outdoor Living clearly out performed the others so I agreed to a contract. Alan Johnson, the owner did the on site visit/bid. Several reviews kept using the word \honest\ in describing Alan. I agree. His bid was lower, and he demonstrated experience and knowledge and a down to earth style. I think one of the keys to their success is, Alan does the bid, then he has a project manager, Dominic, who is equally professional who made the follow up to confirm the bid and deliver the written contract. Bonded, licensed, the whole deal. By the end of the week the builder, Ignacio and his son, came to do the tear down, and then came four days in a row to do the build. He dedicated all his time to my build. A gentleman and skilled perfectionist craftsman. The product is superb. Quality all the way. I was told that Ignacio was taught by his dad, and now he is teaching his son. I never met these guys before and have no business relationship with them, thus, my review is completely objective. I can without reservation recommend them all the way. Hey I did the research for you - hire these guys.

First off, they had the best price of all my estimates. Second, the communication was amazing. Dominique always kept me informed and updated on the progress of the work. Third, they were respectful to my property and didn't damage my Epoxy floors. Finally, their work is beautiful. I had stone front added to my outdoor fireplace and added a wood mantle and granite hearth. See before and after.

I'd like to thank everyone at Freedom Outdoor Living for the wonderful job they've done for my mother's birthday present. Janette and Dominic went above and beyond to make sure our project was completed just in time for her birthday. The crew was nothing but hard working individuals that were involved with the project that completed the project expeditiously and I didn't even have a chance to blink before it was finished! The price was just around what we were looking to spend and it looks like a dream! Our family wants to thank everyone over at Freedom Outdoor Living for an amazing project once again!
