I went to see Dr. Harris for the possibility of a knee replacement. He had been highly recommended to me by someone who had had a hip replacement and had researched his credentials extensively. His staff was very nice and helpful. He personally performed my assessment and took unhurried time with me, which is so important to make sure that I understood what it involves and what he could do for me. He also showed me a video after the assessment which went into detail about how he performs his surgery, which he developed. I was very impressed and at such time as I need a knee replacement I would like For him to be the surgeon. Fortunately for me, my knee for some reason has improved and I don’t feel that right now it is needed. But I highly recommend him as does my friend who had the hip replacement. I also know another younger person who has had a hip replacement with him and was extremely pleased.

Dr. Harris has done a total knee replacement on both of my knees this summer (2020), not at the same time. I could not be any more pleased with my results. After returning home from both surgeries, I never needed any pain meds. After six weeks, I was able to walk a mile. It's great to walk stairs without pain again. The staff of SA Orthopaedic Specialists is first class. They really take care of you. The procedure used by Dr. Harris minimizes recovery time, because he doesn't cut the muscle and tendons.
Dr Broome and his entire office staff have treated me like family each time I’ve been there. Dr Broome actively listens to my concerns and addresses them with kindness and compassion. He repaired a torn meniscus last year in one knee and will be doing a replacement soon on the other one. He understands my active lifestyle and does everything he can to assure me he will do what it takes for me to get back there pain free. I can’t say enough great things about this practice!
I suffered for 5 yrs. with knee pain. When I came to see Dr.Harris and his staff it was a visit like “NO OTHER “ . Dr. Harris, Mr. James, and the staff were EXCELLENT. Everything was explained it detail. Had one knee done in 7/2019 and the other knee done 1/2020 . My recovery time was GREAT . In and out of the hospital the next day. Walking right away with “NO PAIN”. Hospital staff was AWESOME. My incision on both knees looks beautiful not like a railroad track. I am from out of town, and they worked with me to make sure my appointment were set at my convenience. I will definitely continue to refer friends to Dr. Harris office thank you . I feel 100% better. ️
I saw Dr Broome a week ago for the first time and he was amazing! His thoroughness and his ability to sit down and interact with you as a person and not treat you as a number was second to none. He recommended natural anti-inflammatory strategies for helping with my pain, with the option of surgery at a later date. I loved that because most go straight for costly therapeutic measures. He is personable, honest, and knowledgeable in his field. I will continue going to him when necessary and highly recommend him.
