Our tour guide was hilarious! I wish we had known to bring cash for tips because he was awesome. We learned so much about the area and it didn't feel like school!
Chose the Missions tour through the San Antonio Go pass. I read that it took about 3 1/2 hours and it definitely took the whole time(though I’m not sure we needed the whole time since there were only 4 of us). Domingo was our tour guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. My husband left his pair of (expensive) sunglasses and we were able to pick them up the next day, thank goodness! I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn more history about the Missions in San Antonio- I took a star away because it was very long and I felt like once you’ve seen a few of them, you’ve basically seen them all.
We were scheduled to tour LBJ’s ranch as well as opportunities to visit some sites in Fredericksburg. Upon getting to LBJ’s ranch, the driver (Perry) drove through with very basic details about it. We never had an opportunity to get out of the bus and actually see the ranch. Upon getting to Fredericksburg, we were dropped off for a couple hours and picked up just in time to go home (we got back an hour early). I could’ve taken an Uber saved a lot of money and actually gotten to see what I wanted. It’s important to note that my party was the only people on the tour. I cannot recommend this tour.
Loved the whole day tour. We learned so much and obviously saw so much more of San Antonio if we had tried to do it on our own. Our guide, Domingo Reyes, shared so much, going out of his way to enhance our experience. His appreciation and knowledge of history was truly beyond our expectations. Thank you! And Bless Mr. Reyes!
