Mark was awesome! My husband and I went there to get my engagement ring appraised. Mark was very professional and helpful. He explained the different tests he was doing on my ring as he was doing them, which I appreciated. After the tests were done which took around 30 minutes, he gave me my ring back and I got the final appraisal in a week! Highly recommend.

Mark is a thorough professional. The appraisal process was fairly quick and everything is done right in front of you. Mark was also kind enough to explain what he was doing at each step and even shared his microscope with me so I could be better educated. I found Mark through a reliable local source and online reviews. He was prompt and professional. He made sure I understood all the components of his appraisal. I was able to stay throughout the entire appraisal (about 45min-1hr). The appraisal was ready just days later and no payment was expected until the appraisal was completed. I discovered San Antonio Jewelry Appraisers through a google search. I am not from the local area and needed a piece of jewelry appraised within a very short period of time. I called up Mark, who is very responsive and was able to fulfill our request that day. The entire process is handled very professionally. Mark is very open and straightforward with his processes, answering all questions and offering me to view the gem through his microscope, while explaining to me what it is he looks for. The appraisal process is completed right there in front of you (about 40 minutes) and you leave with your jewelry upon completion. The appraised value, in a report complete with photos, is available (by pickup or mail) a couple days later. We chose Mark because he's an independent appraiser, providing an unbiased and professional appraisal. Before saying goodbye, Mark offered me his phone number to provide purchasing advice or recommendations should I ever need it. Excellent customer service!
