I arrived at the 2411 NE Loop 410 location and it is not a very secure facility. The facility is located in a single story strip mall with one glass door entrance rather than a facility with layers of protection. The TV on the wall was inoperable because they stopped paying for cable. There is about an inch of clearance underneath the door of each sleep room. I left the facility before having the study done.

Got referral from my PCP, tried to schedule with SALSA but they kept saying they did not have enough info. Verified that PCP office had sent info. SALSA says they need a specific Medicare form in order to schedule. (Later learned that no such form exists) After about the third call I said please contact PCP office to request what you need, said they would do so. Next they call me to schedule appointment with their PA prior to scheduling the actual sleep study. Told them I already had my medical evaluation, do not need that. They said I did. Clearly they are just looking to generate unnecessary charges for duplicate services. Cancelled the referral to these crooks, going elsewhere
I was referred to SALSA sleep apnea labs by my physician to be tested. I was told I would have to take some equipment home to test first and then if it showed that I have apnea then I would have to return to take a test at their location. I was very concerned with the cost and already knew that I have all the symptoms to test positive so I asked if I could skip the home test since I did not want to get charged twice. They said that was fine as long as I knew I had all the symptoms. I asked several times if this was the only test I needed and they responded by saying as long as I got at least four hours of sleep during the study it would be sufficient. They again confirmed that I would definitely not need another test. I went in and completed the test and the technician told me they had enough data and I could come home. They told me the results would be sent to my physician and myself in 10 business days. It took over three weeks. I was also never told I would be additionally charged for a doctors review of the data. After all that I needed to come back to take another test with “stronger equipment”. Why would they not use the stronger equipment the first time? After speaking with the manager, Norma Ibarra, she had no answers for me and fought me with every question I had. I explained that I specifically asked about charges and prices and she admitted her staff did not give me correct, or sufficient information. I explained that if I had known how much this would cost and how many times they would try to charge me I never would have proceeded. I am currently stuck because I have already put close to 1000 into this and I cant afford to go back to finalize the test which may or may not result in treatment. Apparently, I am not the only one that has experienced this as per the comments and reviews online. They should not be able to get away with misleading consumers in this manner. If you have had a similar experience please report them to the BBB!
Worst lab! Shall be zero star. Unorganised and confusing paperwork. I have a letter from their office telling me to be at the appointment date and time. When I arrived to the SA location, the female lap tech said I was not on her list and told me to go home. They found out it was their mistake after 2 hours! The facility is dirty. The nose piece that stick inside your nose is dirty. No shower at all and you share bathroom with female and male. They glue your hair with the cable. Since there is no shower, you will dirty your car seat when you have to drive back home with all the hair glue
Never got my results kept calling and was told I would be called back and nothing so I gave up so I spent 400 dollars for nothing.
