I would like to share a story with fellow Texans..The Randolph Plaza Apartments on Pat Booker rd. Universal City are a small community of working class and retired people. We pay complete rent without help. We are just ordinary people living without services we should have. State inspectors come by monthly to make demands to the owner for this this property to be repaired often. The owner will not upgrade the property or take care of his tenants. We have pipes breaking inside of the street that impairs our water flow several times within three months. Our third disaster with the pipes in the street has just happened two days. He will not pay professionals to make these serious repairs. He has local unlicensed people fixing whatever they can before he is forced to pay a professional. We were without water for twenty-four hours..If you walk the grounds here at Randolph, you will see the future of an abandoned property existing with people who just need to work and live a normal life. Just one month ago we had dumpsters everywhere we needed. The owner took them away and left us all with one dumpster at the back of the property. We have to load our vehicles with trash and drive back to the single dumpster we have left. The people and children who live by that dumpster, experience an overflow of trash and stench that is now filled by the entire area of people. Waste management cannot empty the dumpster fast enough with this community filling it. Some people are handicapped and cannot walk far or do not drive. They depend on others now to help get their trash to back of the property. The owner violently neglects his tenants and collects their hard earned money each month. Please help us.. Crystal S..
