Staff was trashy and absolutely disrespectful to my family
like
September of 2018. I called at 2am not thinking of the time, my Sister had just passed and I was in shock. Mr Puente answered the call. He was wonderful. He had my sister picked up within the hour. I went to the Funeral home and they took care of everthing. Awesome people. Thank You Mr Puente. RIP
Puente and Sons were amazing, and has such a wonderful staff and Funeral Director was absolutely amazing! This was the most difficult time in my life, but they at least help to put you at ease and are so kind and helpful.
I don't feel I was being treated fairly here at the Judson location. Although my sister passed, it was her mother in law that was trying to do everything when I am next of kin. Everything they did, they contacted the mother in law and not me. Even though, by contract, I am the one they should have been contacting. This location was not very professional at all. They were being rude toward my makeup artist who has done makeup on deceased individuals. I still feel that I should be contacted, especially about the death certificates, but I have a feeling that I will have to get a lawyer involved soon over this tragedy. They already messed up her burial by putting her in the wrong plot at the cemetery and now, still haven't heard from them about the death certificates or an apology for not making sure my sister was laid to rest in the right location.
During one of the lowest points in my life, all of the wonderful people at Puente guided me with care and support in what could've been an excruciating process. I was completely lost. We moved to the greater San Antonio area to follow our daughter. My beloved husband began to spiral downward 1 month after we arrived, and died 2 months later. I was devastated and numb. The Puente people walked me through every decision, pretty much \holding my hand.\ I honestly don't know how it would've ended up without them. They maintained my husband's body as long as I needed, at no cost, until I made my decisions--without a signed contract or any binding commitment from me. They also gave me a huge discount for my husband's cremation costs, including preparation of his remains and paperwork for our transport to Southern California to his final resting place. Please carefully consider Puente to help you with the many decisions and options we must make to take final care of our loved ones. Whether you're in a situation like me, not prepared, or want to make pre-need arrangements, they're the best I found.
